Situated within the new Surry Hills Village precinct, the Aje Headquarters was designed as a refined workplace and creative hub for the Australian fashion label. The new space brings together Aje’s diverse portfolio including fashion, skincare, and activewear within a cohesive environment that reflects the brand’s contemporary sensibility.

A refined HQ for a distinctive brand

The brief called for a workspace that embodies the brand’s identity while remaining functional and welcoming.

Across two light-filled floors, a series of showrooms, design studios, meeting rooms, and collaboration zones have been seamlessly connected through a consistent architectural language.

A neutral palette of soft timbers, warm lighting, and natural materials allows the brand’s evolving collections to remain the focal point throughout.

Grounded in texture and warmth

At the core of the design, Skheme’s Aspley porcelain tiles provide a sense of harmony and continuity throughout the floors.

Inspired by Ceppo di Gre stone, Aspley’s fine-grained surface and subtle variation bring depth and tactility to the interiors.

The tile’s natural tones complement the timber detailing and sculptural forms, grounding the space with a warm, understated luxury.

Timeless, balanced and authentic

The completed headquarters embodies Aje’s design philosophy, refined yet approachable, modern yet enduring.

The result is a thoughtfully balanced workplace that celebrates the brand’s identity through material integrity, natural light, and considered detailing, a reflection of Aje’s commitment to creativity, collaboration, and craftsmanship.
